Cats Are My Passion!

Growing up in the midwest my family always had a dog or two. As I grew older cats began filtering into my life. As an adult I have a house full of cats. When I arrive home from work the stress of the day fades away as I step inside. Peace and calm replace stress and frustration.

I began a long search for cat food that would give my cats more of what they needed in their daily diets, a food full of nutritional ingredients. In the wild, cats catch mice, birds and such. Finding a commercial food similar in nutrition and moisture was difficult. A cat food that contains necessary vitamins and minerals means less health issues for your cats.

There are cat foods (and pet foods in general) containing chemicals. These chemicals are being used as a preservative giving the food a longer shelf life. Ask yourself: Why use harsh chemicals to preserve pet food? Why do chemicals need to be added? Is there not a natural ingredient to take the place of chemicals? What is this doing to the health of my cat?

A feline does not need to be considered a senior at the age of 10, 12, and so on. Liver and kidney dysfunction brought on by years of chemically treated food is a huge culprit.

In my household there are two male cats that contracted FIV, similar to HIV in humans. These cats diets are extremely important and must be monitored to keep their sensitive systems stable. A well balanced diet with no chemicals or unnecessary by-products is essential.
